PAUL BUISSE, TOURAINE SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024, LOIRE VALLEY, FRANCE $15.99 In 1989, Paul Buisse purchased over 173 acres of vineyards in an area recognized as one of the best for wine-growing in the Touraine region of the Loire Valley. Upon his retirement in 2010, Paul Buisse sold the company to his friend, Pierre Chainier, whose family has a long history of working in wine and trade dating back to 1749. Pale yellow with green flecks and a concentrated nose of lemon and tropical fruits. Elegant and aromatic, the palate delivers a lengthy finish tinged with herbal spice. Ideal for appetizers, this is the perfect wine to prep your palate for big meal, serving as a great match for soft cheeses, particularly goat cheese, a specialty of the Loire, salads, seafood and grilled meats.
FALSE BAY, ‘SLOW’ CHENIN BLANC 2024, COASTAL REGION, SOUTH AFRICA $15.99 (MIXED) Named after South Africa's most iconic bay, which frames much of the country's best wine regions. The False Bay range of wines are crafted by Waterkloof Cellar-master Nadia Langenegger. Ripe citrus and green plum fruit on the nose, with lightly bready aromas and notes of dried herbs including fennel and aniseed. Good concentration of zesty fruit with a creamy lemon character offset by taught acidity. The finish is long with great textural complexity, attributable to the long, slow, wild yeast fermentation. A versatile wine equally well suited to partner lobster and other seafood, risotto or herb roast chicken. Can also handle spice very well.
GAIA MONOGRAPH, MOSCHOFILERO 2024, PELOPONNESE, GREECE $16.99 One of the pioneers of the modern Greek wine revolution, Gai’a Estate (pronounced Yay-ya) was established in 1994 by Leon Karatsalos and winemaker Yiannis Paraskevopoulos. Their mission was to capture the best that Greece’s indigenous grapes have to offer by merging traditional viticultural and production methods with innovative techniques. This lively, dry white made from the indigenous Moschofilero grape, has an intensely floral and fruity nose, with hints of rose petal and spice leading to a crisp and flavorful finish. It is fuller bodied but has lively acidity lifting all the flavors into a coherent and elegant march across your palate. This wine is a great pairing for seafood, Middle Eastern and Asian cuisine; or paired with fresh fruit or fruit-based desserts, like the Australian Pavlova.
LUCIEN ALBRECHT, BRUT ROSE NV, CRÉMANT D’ALSACE, FRANCE $18.99 (MIXED) 2026 is a red letter year for Lucien Albrecht, it marks the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Crémant d’Alsace Appellation, of which they are one of the founding fathers. Crémant is a term borrowed from Champagne, it is now used to mean a sparkling wine made in the Champagne Method that is NOT from Champagne proper. Wines created in this method are dryer, more complex and have firmer bubbles than sparkling wines made in the Tank or Ancestral methods. Made from 100% free-run Pinot Noir, it is wonderfully aromatic with notes of dried strawberry and wild cherry; these carry over to the palate, where it is balanced with dry, crisp acidity and complimented with a creamy texture and long finish. A perfect sparkling wine for a romantic night with that special someone.

Costa do Sol is produced by one of Portugal’s top female-owned wine producers: Ermelinda Freitas. A light, crispy and floral wine with a slight fizz.
