To build a completely new way of experiencing a self described “mosaic of identities.” This wine features a nose of black cherries, plums, prunes and figs are on the nose of this Nero d'Avola, a whisper of dark chocolate and mint on the back. The palate stays fresh and juicy with cherries, more chocolate and an undercurrent of wet slate and soil complemented by punchy acidity. Pairs great with spaghetti and grilled meats.

The False Bay range of wines are crafted by Waterkloof Cellar-master Nadia Langenegger.  Ripe citrus and green plum fruit on the nose, with lightly bready aromas and notes of dried herbs including fennel and aniseed. Good concentration of zesty fruit with a creamy lemon character offset by taught acidity. The finish is long with great textural complexity, attributable to the long, slow, wild yeast fermentation.  A versatile wine equally well suited to partner lobster and other seafood, risotto or herb roast chicken. Can also handle spice very well.
LUCIEN ALBRECHT, BRUT ROSE NV, CRÉMANT D’ALSACE, FRANCE $18.99 2026 is a red letter year for Lucien Albrecht, it marks the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Crémant d’Alsace Appellation, of which they are one of the founding fathers. Crémant is a term borrowed from Champagne, it is now used to mean a sparkling wine made in the Champagne Method that is NOT from Champagne proper. Wines created in this method are dryer, more complex and have firmer bubbles than sparkling wines made in the Tank or Ancestral methods. Made from 100% free-run Pinot Noir, it is wonderfully aromatic with notes of dried strawberry and wild cherry; these carry over to the palate, where it is balanced with dry, crisp acidity and complimented with a creamy texture and long finish. A perfect sparkling wine for a romantic night with that special someone.
