  • MONTE DEGLI ANGELI, PINOT NOIR 2024, PIEDMONT, ITALY $18.99 (MIXED) While Piedmont is most famous for its bold Nebbiolo-based wines like Barolo, this Pinot Noir (often labeled as Pinot Nero in Italy) is highly regarded for its elegance and affordability. Sourced from the Monferrato region in the southwest of Piedmont. We were genuinely blown away by the sheer quality of this wine, no small feat when it comes to the mercurial Pinot Noir, it’s like this region is a cheat code for the most difficult grapes to grow. Rich, silky, velvety, soft and with smooth tannins. Fruity notes of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and ripe tomato. Floral notes reminiscent of rose petal and violet. Serve with Boeuf Bourginon, roast beef, and braised lamb.
  • COMTE DE LA CHEVALIERE, GAMAY 2022, LOIRE VALLEY, FRANCE $15.99 Comte de la Chevalière is a respected wine producer from the Sancerre region of France's Loire Valley, founded in 1963 as a cooperative involving over 75-90 winegrowers. We’ve always been suckers for a good Loire Valley Gamay, while they are becoming increasingly common, they still always delight when a new one pops up on our radar. Light body is the name of the game, even lighter than their more refined cousins in Beaujolais, probably owing to the greater use of sandstone soils in the Loire which lend a lighter, brighter, more aromatic profile. Aromas of red fruits, raspberry, strawberry, and floral hints. The palate is light-bodied with delicate, savory, and sometimes saline/white pepper notes. Serve slightly chilled with a decked out charcuterie platter and a sun drenched patio!
  • LUBANZI, SHIRAZ 2024, COASTAL REGION, SOUTH AFRICA $14.99 (MIXED) Lubanzi is named for a wandering dog, who inspired co-founders Charlie Brain & Walker Brown to create this project after falling in love with South Africa as exchange students. At the core of this wine project is a focus on giving back to the families who live and work on South Africa's wine farms via the Pebbles Project, in the form of health and education support. Farmed in favored organic parcels of the coastal region, with its heart in the Swartland, this organic Shiraz expresses the best qualities of the region and characteristics of the varietal that is it's champion. Showcasing a deep violet color and a mix of dark fruit aromas & flavors: blackberry, cherry, and plum stand out. A medium-plus body & a subtle hint of salinity on the finish. A perfect wine for rich meats, grilled or braised like a Passover brisket.
  • POGGIO TERRA, BARBERA 1 LITER 2024, MONFERRATO, ITALY $19.99 Poggio Terra is a generational estate in Monferrato, where 11 hectares of old-vine indigenous barbera thrive on limestone-rich soils full of marine fossils. Certified organic and family owned, the vineyards are managed as a living polyculture, nurturing biodiversity and the natural balance of the land. The wine is naturally fermented with native yeasts, aged in 30% neutral barrel and concrete, and crafted with minimal intervention, yielding a barbera that is precise, vibrant, and layered. Bright raspberries and dried strawberries framed by subtle spice and mineral tension, with supple, integrated tannins and lifted acidity. A liter party bottle wine is meant to bring joy and to be shared, that’s the point of it all that they do.
  • CHÂTEAU FAGE, ‘GRAVES DE VAYRES’ ROUGE 2022, BORDEAUX, FRANCE $17.99 (MIXED) Château Fage is situated on the banks of the Dordogne River in the Graves de Vayres appellation, facing the prestigious appellations of Saint-Emilion, Pomerol and Fronsac. The estate is standout of the appellation, renowned for the quality and quantity of its wines. Their red is predominantly Merlot (65%) with Cabernet Sauvignon (25%), Petit Verdot and Malbec (5% each) making up the balance. Aged 8 months in new French Oak, it is lively on the palate with notes of black plumb and black cherry up front leading to hints of savory herbs and bay leaf on the finish. A very elegant wine with finesse and a long finish. Pair with any rich, scrumptious dish like mushroom stroganoff or shepherds pie.
  • FAUSTINO VII, TEMPRANILLO 2023, RIOJA, SPAIN $16.99 (MIXED) Bodegas Faustino, one of the ‘First Families of Rioja’, was founded in 1861 by the Martinez family and is actively managed today by the 6th generation Martinez daughters. Their Tempranillo is sourced from the heights of the Rioja Alavesa, fermented in Stainless Steel before aging in traditional American Oak for 3 months. Fresh and vibrant. Soft tannins, juicy and ripe red fruit flavors, with hints of raspberry and plum. Oak aging adds a subtle touch of spice and vanilla. Enjoy with dishes such as BBQ, burgers, pulled pork, or spicy tacos.
