Emilie McClintic (Wine Consultant)emilie-in-ethiopian-wine-shop

Emilie came to us from New York where she worked as a restaurant manager for one of Mario Batali’s Manhattan restaurants, Otto Enoteca and Pizzeria. Her experience in restaurants and hospitality spans nearly a decade but it was working at Otto that began her love affair with Italian wines and the rich and historical relationship among agriculture, food, and wine. Prior to her time in New York, she spent three-year living in West Africa where she worked in agriculture and nutrition as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer. She continued this work during her graduate studies at Emory University, from where she recently graduated with a Master’s in Public Health and Nutrition. She speaks French and Wolof (native language of Senegal) and loves experiencing culture and community through food and wine. When she isn’t eating, she is attempting to burn calories on her bike all over town.
